If your initial reaction is, “That sounds great, but I don’t have an extra half hour per day to exercise,” you’re wrong! You can make your time work twice as hard for you by walking while you’re on a conference call. This hack can work especially well for calls where you need to participate but don’t need to be in front of a screen.

Another great way to benefit from daily walks is to share it with a colleague by scheduling a walking meeting. Instead of talking around a conference room table, book 30 minutes to walk around a nearby park or down the street. The fresh air and change of scenery might even lead to your next creative breakthrough.

When you’re rebranding your business, take the time to get very detailed about who you’re targeting as an ideal customer. If you don’t, you could waste time, money and effort creating products, services and a brand that doesn’t resonate with anyone.

Before doing anything, ask yourself why you are rebranding? How do you want your current customers to respond? Do you want more business from your existing customers, or are you targeting a new group of customers entirely? In some cases, businesses rebrand when their analytics and marketing data reveal a subset of “surprise customers,” individuals who don’t fit the buyer personas of the original marketing campaigns and branding strategies.

Create a thorough, detailed, specific buyer persona for your new brand. This will help you make more efficient decisions around colors, language, and style of your revised brand.

What are the benefits of a review funnel?

A review funnel helps you identify customers with potentially negative feedback and address their concerns before they may post a bad review online. It can also encourage customers to share kudos publicly as positive feedback.

One way to create a review funnel is to send out an email following a customer interaction, asking the customer to rate their transaction from one to five stars. If they choose four or five stars, you can ask them to write an online review. If they choose three or fewer stars, you can instead ask them to share feedback. This can help you respond to that customer one-on-one and hopefully rectify the situation.

Making improvements to things you’re not tracking is difficult. Data is power, and one of the fastest and easiest ways to increase your activity level can be by monitoring it. Invest in a Fitbit or other fitness tracker and wear it every day. Not only will you get instant feedback on your progress and your goals, but the social connection with friends can also help keep you accountable.

As a bonus, many fitness trackers also record your sleep. Sleep is a critical component of overall health — especially for overworked entrepreneurs. Getting enough sleep may help everything from an improved memory to heightened creativity. Taken together, tracking your movements and your sleep can give you a great snapshot of your day-to-day health.

Once you’ve established a baseline (about a week), look for ways to make incremental improvements until you reach your goals.
