Improve Your Cash Flow by Making Batch Payments
Here’s how you can improve your cash flow with batch payments
Good cash flow management means knowing what’s coming in and what’s going out and an organized system for paying bills all at once can be a huge help.
Start by checking your calendar to see when your expenses or suppliers are due to be paid each month. Then, look at your accounts receivable to see when you can expect payment for outstanding invoices. Aim to group payments to suppliers or to bill payees as close as possible to the due date and time those payments to coincide with inflows of cash from your receivables. Depending on your relationship with vendors, you may be able to have them adjust your billing date in order to time payments optimally for your cash flow.
